Digital Design

This is my Digital design for this week.  I had to choose a type of make up and put my own evil twist on it.  We had to do this because the Warden's nail polish has Rattle Snake venom in it.  Although I finished my task on Tuesday I think that this has been my best Chapter Chat so far because I did it digitally and I'm not very good at using google drawings.  Also because I kept going back to make things better and add things to make it look awesome.  My favourite thing about my Chapter Chat was all the fonts that I added to make it pop.  The hardest thing I had to do was probably coming up for a formula for my perfume because I needed to make it as evil as possible and I had to try and think of things that smell disgusting!  I hope that my FOR SALE sign gets people to buy my Petrifying Perfume.  I definitely think that this Chapter Chat of mine is an overflowing jar of honey!  I am really proud with my Chapter Chat that I have done!

A way with words.

This is my Chapter Chat, A way With Words.  I wrote a letter of how Camp Green Lake is really like.  We had to right a letter about Camp Green Lake because Stanley was writing a letter to his Mum, but the way he was describing Camp Green Lake was really different to what it really is like.  I presented the letter on a scrunched up, brown piece of paper.  I then made a envelope that I thought was pretty good because I thought it would end up as a disaster!  The easiest thing to do was probably write the letter.  The hardest thing to do was probably making the envelope.  I made his handwriting really messy because I think that Stanley has bad handwriting.  I also made the paper scrunched up because I think that before it got to the envelope people probably wouldn't have passed it to each other with care.  I am really happy with this Chapter Chat, I think that my Chapter Chat is an overflowing jar of honey.

My Vocab Challenge

This is my Vocab Challenge for my Chapter Chat for this week.  I made flaps on a piece of paper.  I think I did a really good job because I had made something like that before and I knew what to do.  The hardest thing was making the flaps the right size.  The easiest thing was colouring it in because I did a very simple pattern that looks awesome when it's fully coloured in.  I think that I did something that is a overflowing jar of honey!

Character Book

For my very last activity for the book, Fish in a Tree was a pop up book.  I had so much fun making this book and I really enjoyed the look of my book at the end.  The hardest thing to do was probably cutting out the characters because they were so small.  The easiest thing about it was gluing my book together.  I loved my last chapter chat for term 2!

Pablo Picasso

This week I researched about the great Pablo Picasso.  He is a very famous artist who specialises in drawing portraits but not your usual faces.  I like how his art is very outside of the box and very abstract.  I think to research about Pablo Picasso was an option because in our book Fish in a Tree Mr Daniels calls out a list of famous people and his name was on the list.  The thing that impressed me most was the way I put the colours in.  I like the way how I chose those colours and how I coloured it in.  I was so happy because of that.  I worked really hard on this and it actually turned out way better then I though it would!  I definitely think that this Chapter Chat for this week was an overflowing jar of honey!

Chapter Chat

For this weeks Chapter Chat I researched about Lynda Mullaly Hunt.  Too present my research project I thought that it would more creative to make a doughnut then just write it down on a doc.  First I drew the base of the doughnut and then the sprinkles.  With all my knowledge that I had gathered about Lynda I wrote them in the sprinkles!  I think we were researching about Lynda Mulllaly Hunt because she is the author of our book-Fish in a Tree.

Fantastic Favourite

These are my cards teaching people how to play chess.  These cards took a long time to make and I am very happy with how it turned out.  In my opinion I think I put in a lot of effort which makes my work an overflowing jar of honey!

Ralphie gets his job back!
