The second knot that I have decided to master is called the Alpine Butterfly Knot! You can tell if you have done this knot correctly because once you have finished you should be able to see a neat, little x. When tying the Butterfly knot you can use your hand or you can just use the string. I found using my hand was easier. Here is the knot.
You can use the Alpine Butterfly knot when your mountain climbing. You can use this knot to tie yourself to a rope. You can also use this knot to isolate a damaged section of rope. I give this rope a difficulty rating of 2/5 because I watched a video and the guy that was showing me how to do it made the instructions really clear.
